About the Author
My name is Sigal Adini. I was born in a far away land in the 1900s. I came to America with the hopes of seeing Disneyland. It took some years to accomplish that goal and by that time it was as not the event I thought it would be. But I found Yosemite and that really made up for it.
Now I live and work in Los Angeles, California. I have the privilege of talking to thousands of people and helping them find solutions to drug addiction.
For the past ten years, I have been working in the field of drug abuse prevention and rehabilitation. Since 2004 I have been answering a drug addiction hotline. I have been asked a lot of questions, heard a million stories and have provided useful information to thousands of families.
Often people write to me to let me know how they are doing and about their successes or if they need help.

My 25 year old son has relapsed and his drug addiction is worse than before. I want to get him into a detox center or program. He has no insurance and I will not pay for it, but he needs it. He is going to NA meetings, although, not regularly. Anyway, I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Are there any programs for his needs and how do I find them?
